Watch this space for the final release announcement. I'll be doing a limited release candidate release to people who've worked on the project before releasing it to the public. I should be releasing the final version next month and I think it's quite decent now and doesn't remotely resemble the early patches I released. I made the mistake of posting beta patches for this using principles adopted from the software world and instead this led to people reading the beta releases which on the whole were pretty bad so I stopped releasing them and stopped announcing them for people to forget about the project. No translation check was ever formally performed but I've gone over it numerous times myself and corrected many many translation errors that became apparent as my Japanese improved and obvious story or dialogue inconsistencies made the errors apparent. In the meantime, the entire body of text has since been edited by numerous different editors, the vast majority of the text has been proofread and QC'ed, icons have been translated, and CGs have been decensored.
Progress after that has been slow like the translation before it.

It's been about 2 years since I posted an update about this project after the text was completely translated and had been partly edited. I suspect this is one of the longest running projects of all time to stay alive and believe it or not it's actually nearing completion, 10 years after I started on it.
